Thomas Moretti Obituary News: Elmira, New York Man and Owner of Moretti’s Restaurant, Thomas Moretti Passes Away

Thomas Moretti Obituary: It is with an overwhelming sense of sorrow that I must share the heartbreaking news of the untimely passing of my beloved brother-in-law, Tom Moretti, the esteemed owner of Moretti’s Restaurant. Tom departed this world unexpectedly, finding his eternal rest at home, surrounded by the love of his life, my sister Carol Douglas. The profound loss we feel is immeasurable, and our hearts ache with grief.

Friends and family who wish to pay their respects and offer solace during this difficult time are invited to visit the Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, located on Lake Street and Washington Avenue. The visitation will take place on Thursday, January 4th, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This will be an opportunity for all who knew Tom to gather, share memories, and support one another as we navigate through this profound loss.

A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Tom’s life will be held on Friday, January 5th, at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Church. The sacred ceremony will be a moment to reflect on Tom’s contributions, legacy, and the indelible mark he left on the lives of those fortunate enough to have known him. Following the mass, a communal prayer and interment will take place at St. Peter & Paul’s Cemetery. In recognition of Tom’s dedicated service, military honors will be accorded, a testament to his commitment to duty.
