Technoblade was an American YouTuber and social media personality. He was known for his Minecraft-related content, as well as his sense of humor and rap skills. He was a member of the now-disbanded YouTube group The Pack, and was also part of the supergroup Dream Team.
Technoblade first gained popularity on Vine, before transitioning to YouTube in 2016. He uploaded his first video to YouTube on February 8th, 2016, titled “Vine is Shutting Down.” In the following months, he would gain a large following on YouTube, with his channel eventually reaching over two million subscribers. Technoblade’s father announced the death in a video on his son’s YouTube channel, where he had entertained more than 11 million subscribers with his Minecraft gameplay and wry commentary. Moreover, his father name is not known.
In the note, the YouTuber wrote, “Thank you all for supporting my content over the years. If I had another hundred lives, I think I would choose to be Technoblade again every single time as those were the happiest years of my life.” The video also features the YouTuber’s father speaking about him. Describing Mr Alex, he added, “He was the most amazing kid anyone could ever ask for. I miss Technoblade.”
Alex’s family has also released a statement in conjunction with the video. The statement, which appears at the end of the video, read, “We, the family of Technoblade, wanted you all to know just how much he adored and respected his fans and colleagues. From Technoblade’s earliest online days, he was always strategizing ways to delight and reward his audience.”

Technoblade Death Cause: Cancer
On August 27, 2021, Technoblade uploaded a video titled “where I’ve been,” in which he revealed that he had been diagnosed with sarcoma in mid-August after experiencing arm discomfort and swelling. The illness was found early by doctors, and Techno concentrated on receiving chemotherapy treatments.
In the video, he urged his followers to get vaccinated against COVID-19 and take precautions after learning that he was immunocompromised and more vulnerable.
He has received encouragement from content producers Dream, DanTDM, CaptainSparklez, and other members of the Dream SMP since his announcement.
Following his announcement, the hashtag #TechnoSupport trended on Twitter and other social media sites for a few days.
