The singer was born on March 21, 1975 as Francisco Gaudencio Lope Belardo Mañalac. He was born in Quezon City, Philippines to Filipino parents whose information was not revealed in the media. When he was 10 years old, his family immigrated to San Francisco, California, where he spent his childhood there.
